ScopeLogic is construction takeoff, estimating and project-management software for contractors. Measure the job off the drawings and it builds the material list, prices it from your own catalogue, sends a package your supplier can quote, matches their quote back line by line, and turns the whole thing into a proposal your client signs and pays from their phone. Built by a contractor, for contractors.
Concrete, framing, roofing, plumbing, siding, painting, landscaping, glazing, tile, electrical, waterproofing, cabinetry, flooring, drywall, insulation, gutters, trim, HVAC, demolition, countertops, foundation, appliances, fencing, masonry, site work, general conditions and cleanup. Every recipe is driven by a measured area, length or count, so it prices the same whether that number came from reading a drawing, measuring on screen, or scanning a room. No trade blocks you.
ScopeLogic reads five trades straight off the drawing: roofing, windows and doors, siding, concrete and framing. It works the scale out from the sheet’s own dimensions. Drywall is next. On a real four-unit townhouse block it returned 33.81 squares of roof at a 4:12 pitch, 217.7 feet of ridge and hip, 55.5 feet of valley and 258.9 feet of eave, and where the plumbing stacks were not drawn it asked rather than filling the gap.
This is in testing and not generally available yet. Subscribers get it first as it rolls out trade by trade. Everything else on this page works today.
ScopeLogic Field is a companion iPhone app, live on the App Store: clock in and out, daily logs, job photos, quick estimates, and offline-safe sync. On iPhones with the hardware for it, you can also scan a room with LiDAR and have the measurements come back as a takeoff.
Drywall is in build now, then flooring, tile, trim and painting. The recipes for those trades already exist and already price; what is being added is reading them off the drawing.
